.Hi - The aims of near2us are to give information to people who just want to have a day out, have places to go and visit, have an evening out, or just go and see somewhere locally, with or without kids.

The difference is that near2us is to be built on recommendations by everyday people, like you, who have been to these local places or events.

Attractions or events can be varied: Local and specialist zoos Working farms Wildlife centres special seaside places

Specialist Museums or Art galleries Local theatres Local events

Hill walking or local walks Canal trips or events Off-road events steam railways

Specialist craft centres Country houses Castles Abbeys Historical gardens

People will provide their own versions of their experiences, what is good and what to watch out for, do they cope with kids or animals, is the scene a good place for kids, value for money, suitable for the grandparents, etc. These views will personal and hopefully will be much more informative than an advert

Reviews on local attractions, visits, days out and day trips etc. will only be placed on the site if you recommend them overall, and the submission will be free of charge.

If you have a photo of the place/ event then we should be able to put that up too, so please send it to us using the 'send photo' tab on the menu, with a note of the attraction it applies to.

Please remember it must be your own photograph, to avoid copyright issues.

Reviews provided will first be cross-checked, as far as is reasonable, to check place exists, Postcode, etc. We reserve the right to exclude reviews that are not recommendations, or that we consider not in line with the ethos of the site, one aspect of which is to be family friendly.

We cannot be held responsible for what people say in their recommendations, as we are only providing their own versions of their experience based on their visit to these attractions places or events.
