Friendly staff, each room not in the hotel itself but in the grounds has individual parking in front of stables converted into mews
It has a conservatory, a patio overlooking gardens as well as a dining room for dining
The one thing that puts it above others is that the barn has been converted into a swimming pool which is gorgeous. It also has snooker/pool & a banquet hall for those big occasions with a balcony overlooking the rest of the room.
Also barter for room rates it works.
